September 20 | Light Route Eindhoven

From Thursday 18 September, Eindhoven will once again be transformed into one big light spectacle: the Light RouteEnjoy the 22-kilometer route filled with electric ornaments and colorful light projects, free for everyone. Over 200,000 visitors attend this unique event annually.

📅 When: cycling evening: 20 September (entire Lichtjesroute 18 September to 12 October).

🚲 Experience it by bike
The best way to explore the Lichtjesroute is by bike. You'll see more, experience the atmosphere more, and be more environmentally friendly. Moreover, local residents will experience less noise and exhaust fumes. You can start at any point along the 22-kilometer route. Cycling the entire route will take you about two hours. Prefer something different? Choose the VVV bus tour or walk the route in stages.

Please note: cars are particularly unwelcome during Cycling Evening and on International Car-Free Sunday.

Special Cycling Evening – Saturday, September 20
On the first Saturday that all the lights are lit, there's the traditional Cycling Evening. At three locations along the route, the magic of the lights is enhanced by live music. Keep an eye on the Lichtjesroute social media for locations, times, and band lineups.
