Rediscover Brabant together

Active together, guided through the life and work of Vincent van Gogh in our beautiful Brabant nature.

During the Sunflower Tour, you rediscover Brabant. Van Gogh heritage sites mark the tour and allow you to discover all sorts of things along the way. About Vincent, of course, but also the biodiversity, the varied landscape, and the connection between cities, villages, and the countryside. Along the way, you will meet local partners, farmers, and remarkable entrepreneurs.

Business ride

For sporty cyclists (approx. 27 km/h) who believe networking is possible without a suit and tie. We welcome you to Boerderij Krakenburg with a warm welcome. From here, we depart in groups of ten, each with its own road captain, for a loop of about 80 kilometers. Along the way, we refuel in the first cycling village in the Netherlands: Village Départ. Back at Boerderij Krakenburg, we catch up.

We cycle past special Van Gogh locations (Van Gogh National Park and Van Gogh Sites Foundation), connect sports and exercise (SSNB) with regional experience (ZLTO) and make valuable new contacts along the way.

• Starting location: Krakenburg Farm, Nuenen
• Bicycle: road bike
• Target group: sporty riders with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Participation: €30 per person. The proceeds go to the social project Brabant Behaagt (Van Gogh National Park & ZLTO).

Program in broad outline

• 12:00 – 12:45: Reception with welcome drink, water bottle, bar
• 12:45 – 13:00: preparing for the start
• 13:00 – 13:10: Departure in groups of approximately 10 people and
• 2-minute break (safety)
• 14:15 – 14:30: Stop at Village Dèpart, snack, water bottle, banana, bar
• 15:30 – 17:00: Arrival at Krakenburg Farm with a drink and chatting

Social ride

For anyone who cannot or does not want to ride such a tour alone, the tandem bikes are ready. Fun and sporty.

We welcome you warmly at Krakenburg Farm. And before you know it, you'll be whizzing through the Brabant countryside, while your co-driver knows all about the area and the life of Van Gogh. We will drive a loop of about 25 kilometers. Along the way, we will take a short break during a planned stop. And back at Krakenburg Farm, we will catch up.

• Bicycle: Fietsmaatjes tandem bikes or your own daily bike
• Target group: cyclists with disabilities ride the route together with able-bodied cyclists on tandem bikes, with everyone pedaling along on a standard bicycle.
• Participation: participation via the existing networks of Fietsmaatjes Brabant in collaboration with Van Gogh Sunflower Tour.
