Our Club Cycles!

Cycling to the football club? We're making that completely normal again! On Saturday, September 19, youth teams from amateur football clubs around Eindhoven will hop on their bikes to their matches together. Not individual cyclists, but complete teams on the road together. Safe, sporty, and above all, incredibly fun. 

Of Our Club Cycles! Let's show that many sports trips don't have to be by car at all. Instead:

  • Do many children live within cycling distance of their sports club?
  • Are sports parks often full of cars on Saturdays?
  • Does cycling together lead to less traffic congestion around clubs?
  • Encourages healthy and active movement
  • Makes the environment safer for everyone

Finally, cycling together provides fun, independence, and a strong sense of teamwork. Along the way, there is laughter, chatting, and encouragement. The race actually begins as soon as the team gets on their bikes. 

Our Club Cycles! is an initiative of Brainport Bereikbaar and the Eindhoven Cyclists' Union, together with municipalities and amateur football clubs. During this first edition, we are taking a great step towards a future where cycling to the sports club is once again the norm.
