Eindhoven Lights Route Cycling Evening

On September 19, Eindhoven transforms into a work of light art during the Fietsavond Lichtjesroute. Enjoy the 22-kilometer route filled with electric ornaments and colorful light projects. The route is free and accessible to everyone.

Experience it by bike

The best way to discover the Light Route is by bike. You see more, soak up the atmosphere better, and travel sustainably. Moreover, local residents suffer less from noise and exhaust fumes. You can start at any point along the 22-kilometer route. If you cycle the entire route, it will take you about two hours. Prefer something else? Choose the VVV bus tour or walk the route in stages.

Special Cycling Evening – Saturday, September 19

The traditional Cycling Evening takes place on the first Saturday that all the lights are on. At three locations along the route, the magic of the lights is further enhanced by live music. Keep an eye on the Lichtjesroute's social media for the locations, times, and line-up of bands.
