Riding together with someone you know is fun and enjoyable. Sharing a ride with someone you don't know yet might be even more fun. You get a bigger network, more acquaintances or even friends or just a nicer day.

You've probably thought of this yourself: sharing a ride saves money. You share the costs for each ride. This becomes even more attractive if you share a ride with more than two people. Then it can even earn you money!

How does carpooling work?
Via the Karos app, you indicate where you live and work, for example, and whether you want to carpool or drive yourself. Karos automatically matches you with others who have a similar route. You see in advance who you will be carpooling with and where you are joining, making it easy to arrange. You choose yourself when to carpool or take someone along.
How much does carpooling cost?
Carpooling is advantageous because you share the costs. The Karos app automatically calculates what you pay or receive. This way, you always know where you stand. The price depends on the distance you travel together. Are you traveling to or from the Brainport region? Then part of the costs will be reimbursed.

What is the home delivery guarantee?
The home delivery guarantee ensures that you always get home. If your carpool ride is unexpectedly cancelled or you need to get home urgently, we will arrange a taxi to take you home free of charge.
How does the home delivery guarantee work?
You can use the home delivery guarantee if you traveled with a carpool in the morning and your driver cancels the return trip. The return journey must take place after 3:00 PM. Do you meet these conditions? Then you will automatically receive a message in the Karos app. We will then put you in touch with a taxi dispatch center that will send a taxi to you as soon as possible (approximately within 30 minutes).
Is carpooling reliable and safe?
You see who you are traveling with and arrange your ride in advance via the Karos app. Additionally, the app ensures clear communication and support along the way.
How can I recognize my carpool buddy and agree on a meeting point?
Even when carpooling using an app, you have contact with your carpool partner beforehand. For example, you can briefly communicate how to recognize the car and what the exact meeting point is. This way, you make a clear arrangement and avoid any surprises.
