The mobility needs of employees and employers are changing

More and more employees want flexibility from A to B. They need convenience, different forms of transport and easy declaration. Employee travel patterns are also changing. More people are working from home and there are fewer journeys with a fixed origin and destination.

Employers increasingly want to show that they are green and innovative, have less hassle with declarations and, especially because of the labor market, offer mobility that meets the needs of (potential) employees. They also want insight into the CO₂emissions, including due to our own sustainability objectives and new government regulations.

MaaS meets the changing needs

Mobility as a Service (MaaS) is the offering of flexible, customized mobility services via one digital platform. This allows you to easily plan, book, travel and pay for transport. This is useful if you want to combine different types of transport, for example public transport and shared transport. The result: Sustainable, customized door-to-door travel.

There are more and more organizations that can offer MaaS for you. There are a number of different MaaS providers on the market, each with their own offering. This offer offers options for using public transport, shared mobility, refueling at home and/or abroad and parking. The offer naturally differs per provider. For example, with which shared carriers they collaborate, whether refueling abroad can be reimbursed, etc. The MaaS providers try to make business travel as easy as possible for both the employee and employer, using an app (employee) or dashboard ( employer) is given direct insight into trips made, the modal split and CO₂emissions. And all types of travel are declared immediately!
